I found Ann Marie’s story this morning while RSVPing for an upcoming social media event. My extended family has fought it’s fair share of cancer so I really admire people doing things to make a difference. I am especially impressed with Ann Marie’s willingness to shave her head in support of those who are fighting.
So have you done a little good today? I think we can get Ann Marie to her goal by chipping in a little Starbucks money. Donate or if you don’t have the money, spread the word.

Watch this video news report from a Japanese TV station. It’s a story about US Navy personnel who chose on their own to fly in supplies to Sendai, Japan. Even though very little of it is in English, it’s a moving video to watch.

“You’ll see an older Japanese man a little ways into the clip, speaking to the camera. What he says is, essentially, that the townspeople had no idea the Americans were coming or bringing them anything.  There was no announcement or anything about it. Which is true. Between the destroyed roads and the radiation fears, hardly anyone can even get to the Sendai area. But these US pilots did.”

Proud to be the daughter & sister of Navy Pilots.
